Application Report
Flotation cells coated with Dura-Coat® Metal 400. Surface prepared with abrasive blasting and coated using rollers. Aggressive chemicals and abrasion demanded a ceramic reinforced epoxy coating for protection of the metallic substrate of the cells. High adhesion and flexibility are also a must in this application. Dura-Coat® Metal 400 combines all these important features for long term protection of the equipment.

- Operating Condition: Aggressive chemicals and abrasion/erosion
- Scope: Need of a technology to apply a corrosion and abrasion protection coating on metallic substrate of the cells and mixers.
- Status: Flotation cells running and protected since the beginning of 2023. No wear and chemical attack shown with work life aiming for several years.
