DESCRIPTION
Filter Baghouse needed a chemical and temperature resistant coating to protect it from the sulfuric acid that was produced together with the cement powder.
Dura-Coat® Chemical 200HT was applied in both chambers of 2 baghouses. The whole surface was abrasion blasted to near white metal standard, coated, and then heat treated. This was necessary due to the expansion and contraction of the metal surface in extremely high temperatures.
