Surface Preparation
Proper surface preparation is extremely important to the long-term performance of Dura-Coat Super Grout 811. The prepared concrete surface must be structurally sound, free from all types of contaminants and rough to an >ICRI CSP 3 profile (similar #60 grit sandpaper). If used with Dura-Coat Krete-Seal Fast 820, the surface can be damp, but not wet, i.e. no standing water. If there is no vapor barrier, check for vapor transmission.

Mixing
For ease of mixing and application, all material temperatures should be between 70°-90°F (21°-32°C) prior to mixing. Dura-Coat Super Grout 811 should be applied shortly after applying Krete-Seal Fast 820 primer. The primer should be tacky/adherent before applying Dura-Coat Super Grout 811; otherwise, the area must be resurfaced. This is ideal within 2 hours of application depending on environmental conditions. Pre-mix the Base to disperse the pigment well. Then thoroughly mix base and activator in a suitable bucket using a low speed mixer. Then transfer the mixed resins to an epoxy mortar mixer containing one bag of Quartz and gradually add the remaining bags. Total mixing time should be a minimum of 3 minutes or until evenly mixed.

Application
Dura-Coat Super Grout 811 can be spread over the floor surface using rigid guides or bars, not exceeding 1.2 m (3.93 ft) wide.
Apply with a thickness of at least 6 mm (240 mil) and finish the surface using steel spatulas.
IMPORTANT: During application, press Dura-Coat Super Grout 811 firmly into the substrate to promote contact with the primer and ensure complete compaction. Finish the surface with a trowel until you obtain a uniform and smooth surface texture.
