DESCRIPTION
Francis turbine losing effectiveness from day to day wear and tear. Turbines were very damaged and lost metal thickness in areas of high abrasion.
Turbines were repaired with Dura-Coat® Abrasion Fast 356 and has been continuously working for 1440hrs with minimal wear to the product. Expectations are that the turbines will work another 4 months before the next maintenance touch-up. Customers are very happy with the increase in mean-time between repairs.
