DESCRIPTION
Pulp & Paper drying equipment was suffering from corrosion due to the high humidity the paper process causes. A unique solution was required where the surface preparation couldn’t be through conventional means (blasting or mechanical prep.) due to the corrosion potential to contaminate their product. For this reason NRX was used to not only treat the corroded surface but also serve as a primer for the top coat. Dura-Coat® Metal 400 was used as the top coat due to it’s hydrophobic qualities in the high humidity environment.
